Detour Flow

Detour Flow classes take what you already know and love about vinyasa flow and combine that approach with a focus on joint prep, strength and mobility to ensure that your body enters every pose and transition with ease and confidence. In a Flow class, you’ll see our signature “Isolate, Activate, Integrate” methodology in action, where smaller, more specific actions build toward larger more complex movements in a way that is logical and accessible but also fun and inspiring.

  • Flow into Bliss

    In this class you’ll move your whole body and you’ll arrive to a beautiful savasana with a guided meditation. Are you ready show you and your body some love?

  • Salute to the Moon and Back

    Enjoy tapping into your creative flow as you move through this sequence of poses. We explore spinal extension and strong standing postures with plenty of opportunity to add in your own expression. We repeat the sequence a number of times to allow more freedom of movement and personal practice...

    Have a pair of blocks and a small towel on hand. This hour + class is a steady, sweaty exploration of reflexive core strength. A full body class that will leave you feeling like you just did a bunch of ab exercises with out ever doing a single crunch.

    Your spine is happiest when it's moving in ALLLL directions! Let's flex, extend and twist before linking in a juicy Detoured flow!

  • Upper Body Detour Flow

    Detour flow, with emphasis on upper back and shoulders. Have a blanket or bolster on hand as well as one block.

  • Wake Up & Flow

    Start your day off with this full body shake down and you might just skip your morning coffee. You'll explore movement through all your major joints and muscles so that you'll leave feeling ready to tackle your day.

  • Short and Sweet Salutations

    This 20-minute practice is a perfect way to insert some movement into your day. Explore sun salutations through a lens of head-to-toe mobility, with plenty of room for fun and exploration along the way. If you've got two blocks available, have them nearby.

  • Let's Get Creative & Flow!

    Using functional movement to wake up our hips, hamstrings and ankles, we'll flow through variations of Goddess pose - whilst tapping into the creative side of our brains!

    PROPS: two blocks or hardback books - not compulsory, but may make some poses a little more comfortable.
